Translator

Experienced German/Japanese translators wanted

Skills

  • Native speaker of German/Japanese with fluency in English
  • Translation experience necessary!
  • Knowledge of Japanese street fashion or willing to learn

Website Manager

Responsible for website updates and maintenance. Responsible for uploading posts to the site.

Editor-in-Chief’s Assistant

Must be based in Tokyo. Will be in charge of organising editor in chiefs day to day scheduling, admin tasks, emailing, attend meetings etc

Writer

In-house writers are asked to produce at least two assigned articles per issue, with the possibility to develop their own additional column eventually. All articles must be submitted in English.

Event Reporter

Love going to events? Love taking snaps of fabulous fashion? Become an official Event Reporter for The COMM!

At The COMM, we want to share your meetups, conventions, and fashion show events with The COMMunity! If you are planning to attend a:

  • Fashion meetup
  • Fashion show
  • Fashion walk
  • Fashion convention

then we want to hear from you! Email contacthecomm@gmail.com (subject line: “Event Report”), for information on writing an event report, interviewing attendees, and taking pics! Please include in the body of the email which event you are attending. One-off reports welcome. Trusted contributors may eventually be able to apply for press passes on our behalf. We are currently accepting reports in English only.
