Trend Report: Why is Everyone so Clueless?
In the last few seasons, tartan has had a revival that has taken the world by storm. Many note the iconic canary yellow tartan co-ord worn by loveable but naïve daddy’s girl Cher Horowitz in the classic teen comedy, Clueless as a source of inspiration. The 1995 box office hit didn’t just make Jane Austen cool, it brought Scottish clan culture into pop culture. And in the revivalist spirit of Reiwa, the look has gone beyond a film fashion moment and into a full-blown trend. Read on to learn about how tartan is being revitalised within the community!

Artist Lisa Kubota is known for incorporating her creative flair into her outfits, and this festive ensemble is no exception.
