Yuki Yoshida and I’m a stylist.
What does fashion mean to you?
It might be a bit of a cliche, but it means wearing the clothes that you like. I really like FRUiTS, I used to look at it thinking that these people must really love clothes. People wore a variety of clothes even in those days, and they all wore their favourite clothes in the way that they liked. I don’t know whether it’s because I was influenced by that, but I think that fashion is about wearing clothes that you like in the way that you think is cool.
Tell us about being a stylist.
I may use a designated outfit or brand depending on the shoot, but I personally like to use brands that are underground. I think it is easy to style your clothes like other people. But, I want to keep on creating things that are outstanding, and I do that by using underground brands.
