Hi, my name is…
PiNKII, ex-idol turned Bubblegum Trap Pioneer.
What does the community mean to you?
The community is full of people who continue to inspire you, rather than bring you down. I remember growing up, the town I lived in was so small that nobody else was interested in the same things. So I started talking to people on a gyaru forum called Ricoche. Even though it was online, the people I talked to really inspired me to be myself. I’m still friends with a lot of the people I met back then!
Tell us about your music video AsaKara no BREAD!
I really like to tell a story with my videos. When I left for Japan I had just started talking to Dededo and Ao-chan. I knew that I wanted to film in a “cyber” looking studio, but wasn’t sure which one yet. On the same trip, I ended up doing a collab video with Ao-chan and her circle, as well as a collab with Dededo in which we went to a cyber maid cafe for the first time. After the collab at the maid cafe, I called the place up and asked if they’d be okay with us filming again (with no maids this time), and they actually said yes! After booking the place I asked Aochan and Dededo if they’d be down to guest star, and they didn’t hesitate. I was so glad everything worked out so perfectly!
Any last words?
It’s been so amazing to have these ideas and make them into something physical! I’m so thankful for all of the support I’ve gotten on my music journey (including from The COMM!), and it’s been amazing to share my work with you guys. Creating makes me more happy than anything and I can’t wait to keep making more!ヽ(。ゝω･)ﾉ☆;:* Doya!
