Hello Kitty’s Deliciously Kawaii Collab With Pierre Hermé
The first day of November is Hello Kitty’s birthday and so to celebrate, Japan’s most worshipped pop culture icon is set to collaborate with famous patissier Pierre Hermé (aka the “Picasso of the Pastry World”).
Pierre Hermé Paris Aoyama will serve a special “Gâteau Anniversaire Hello Kitty” dessert from 1-15 November. It’s an adorable Ispahan (raspberry cake) birthday platter with rose flavoured ice cream and topped off with an edible Hello Kitty face.
Hello Kitty is also releasing limited edition goods! For this collaboration the creator of Hello Kitty designed a pink dress decorated with Hermé’s signature dessert—the Ispahan. Purr-fect! You will see the design printed on: bags, blankets, accessory cases, cosmetic baskets, cutlery and plush keychains. And don’t forget the limited edition Hello Kitty Pierre Hermé Birthday doll! They will be sold in Sanrio-themed stores, Sanrio Corners, and the Sanrio’s online shop. Sweet!
The collab launched 20 October, so visit any Sanrio shop to get your hands on the merch. Are you excited to try an Ispahan dessert this November?
